About Michael Cullipher, Elvis Tribute Artist
At age 4, Michael saw an Elvis Tribute Artist. He was mesmerized and began practicing the moves and singing style of The King. His desire became so strong that he began to pray every day that he would grow sideburns and sound like Elvis.
By age 19, his dream started to become real when he entered Oklahoma's State Elvis Extravanganza contest — and won. His career as an Elvis Tribute Artist started to take off, and Michael has been runner-up in the Elvis Extravaganza finals in Florida and was an an award-winning Tribute Artist in Branson, Missouri.
Currently, Michael performs at numerous festivals and events around the country, while keeping a steady gig at Graceland Crossing in Memphis.
From Elvis's early rock 'n roll hits to his ballads to his country songs, Michael can sing them all. Michael feels blessed that some of the most humbling and rewarding experiences of his career have been singing and performing Elvis's gospel music. Michael's goal as a Elvis Tribute Artist is to present the best memory of Elvis Presley possible.
