About Big Barton

If you like your whiskey straight and your country classic, then Big Barton is your band. Songs from artists such as Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Ernest Tubb, and Johnny Cash will bring you back in time to the golden era of Nashville's WSM radio.

Fronted by Jeremy Shrader (New Memphis HepcatsMighty Souls Brass Band), who sings and plays rhythm guitar, and Adam Holton (Mister Adams, Cotton & Coal), on vocals and bass, the band features some of the best musicians from the Memphis area, including Richard Alan Ford (pedal steel guitar), Logan Hanna (lead guitar), Anthony Gilbert (fiddle), and Jesse Williams (drums).

Complete with the biggest hats and belt buckles you've ever seen, Big Barton holds true to the deep roots of this American art form, and still manages to showcase their world-class musical talents and modern sensibilities. While the full band presents the best sound for this music, Big Barton can also break down to “Small Barton” ensembles of two to five pieces.

Perfect for barn dances, corporate events, and weddings with a country flair, they'll turn any event into a rip-roarin', two-steppin' hoe-down!
